BLOCKDESIGN Pte. Ltd. ("we") operates shiraki.design (the "Service"). This policy explains how we handle personal data of people who use the Service.

1. Data we collect

Your email address when you sign up or sign in
If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture provided by Google
Your language, membership tier, email-update preference and when you gave or withdrew consent
Subscription status (plan, billing period, customer ID at our payment provider). Card details are collected by the payment provider; we do not store them
Cookies that keep you signed in, and technical data such as access time, IP address and browser type

2. How we use it

To verify you, sign you in and show content for your membership tier
To manage subscriptions, billing and cancellations
To answer enquiries and send important service notices
To send newsletters about new designs and services, only if you opted in
To prevent abuse, improve the Service and understand how it is used

3. Email updates

We send newsletters only to people who opted in at sign-up or in My account. You can unsubscribe anytime in My account or via the link in each email. Service emails such as sign-in links are sent regardless of this setting.

4. Service providers and international transfers

We use the following providers to run the Service. They may store or process data in Japan, Singapore, the United States and other countries.

Supabase (accounts and sign-in)
Vercel (website hosting)
Resend (email delivery)
Google (Sign in with Google)
Paddle (subscription payments; Paddle acts as merchant of record and collects payment data)

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not share personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep your data while you are a member. After you close your account or ask us to delete it, we delete it without undue delay, except records we must keep by law or for accounting.

7. Your rights

To access, correct, restrict or delete your data, or withdraw consent to newsletters, contact support@shiraki.design. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable time, in line with applicable laws including Singapore's PDPA, Japan's APPI and the EU GDPR.

8. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and announce significant changes on the site or by email.
