Terms of Use

1. The Service

The Service provides design specifications ("YAML") for creating slides and infographics with generative AI tools such as Gemini Notebook, together with sample images.

2. Accounts

• You can sign up with an email address or a Google account.
• Your account is for you only. Do not lend, transfer or share it.
• Tell us promptly if your details change or you suspect unauthorized use.
• If you are a minor, get a parent or guardian's consent before buying a paid plan.

3. Membership tiers

• Free members can view and copy the YAML we designate for free members.
• Premium members can view and copy all YAML while their subscription is active.
• What each tier includes is shown on the Service. We may add, change or reassign YAML from time to time.

4. Licence to use YAML

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the YAML available to your tier to:

• create slides and infographics and use them for personal, business or commercial purposes
• edit and adapt the YAML for your own use

5. What you must not do

• Distribute, sell or publish any YAML, in whole or in part, including modified versions (for example on social media, blogs, template marketplaces or shared folders)
• Build a YAML library or a similar service from our content
• Share accounts, bulk-download with automated tools, or overload the Service
• Break the law or infringe the rights of others
• Anything similar to the above that disrupts the Service

6. Paid plans

• Prices and features are shown on the pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled, and are charged on each renewal date.
• You can cancel anytime in My account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not give pro-rated refunds.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our reseller and merchant of record, which calculates and collects applicable taxes.
• We will give notice before changing prices, and changes apply from your next renewal.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual property

We or our licensors own the YAML, sample images and the text and design of the Service. These Terms do not transfer any rights beyond the licence in section 4.

8. Disclaimers and liability

• AI outputs vary with the tool and your input, so we do not guarantee results will match the sample images.
• Changes to or discontinuation of third-party AI tools may stop YAML from working as intended.
• Except for our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the loss arose, unless applicable consumer law does not allow this limitation.

9. Suspension

If you breach these Terms and do not fix the breach after we ask, or if the breach is serious (such as redistributing YAML or sharing an account), we may suspend or delete your account, and fees already paid will not be refunded.

10. Changes to the Service

We may change or discontinue the Service. If we discontinue it during a paid subscription, we will give notice and handle the remaining period fairly.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where the change benefits members generally or is reasonable in light of its necessity and content. We will announce the new Terms and their effective date on the Service or by email before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute. This does not limit rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
